Scholarships
 

 
To apply for a 2010 Civic League Scholarship, please contact your School Counselor and turn in your application to the School Counselor. 
 
Deadline to apply for a 2010 Civic League Scholarship is Friday, April 9, 2010

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
  1. Demonstrate  a definite need for financial assistance
  2. Be a resident of Addison, Carrollton, or Farmers Branch or attend a CFB-ISD school,
  3. Have a grade point average of 3.0 or better.
  4. Have taken the SAT and/or ACT
  5. Have applied to a school or college prior to submitting Scholarship application.
  6. Must have two teacher recommendations and one recommendation from a person outside of the school (must not be  related to applicant)
Students must apply through their school counselor and may re-apply for continuing support.
 
Amounts awarded range from $500-5,000 with certificates presented at each school’s Senior Walk program.  
 
Checks  are sent directly to the institution to ensure students receive the funds awarded.
